My friend Judith calls Vancouver "The City of Cranes".......... so much energy devoted to emptying the city of its history, depriving its poor of the most basic of safe shelter.

This, cracked plaster-map of gravitational influence... or maybe just a driver, parking badly. This, then 'shopped at home (wherever that was) and subsequently trailing the eye ... all over this city: demanding attention, darkness, refusing meaning.
